A better world, one game at a time
$PLAY Coin is a new Creator Coin on the Rally Network used to create and reward experiences which elevate the human spirit through play. $PLAY Coin is meant to Unite, Empower, Uplift and Reward through its supported programs, while promoting a strong moral compass. The initial programs are:
PLAY launched on 4/22/2021 at 10am PST(West Coast USA) on the Rally Site.
$PLAY is one of many Creator Coins on the Rally network. Creator Coins are social tokens that are a fully customizable, branded cryptocurrency unique to the individual creator. It is tied to $RLY, a cryptocurrency on the Ethereum network. You can read more about them here: https://rally.io/faq/#crypto_beginners
$PLAY is a cross-purpose currency. It can be purchased with USD or with cryptocurrency, and it can be converted back into USD or other cryptocurrency. It can be received in specific ways, and also spent in specific ways, or it can be simply held in the hopes that it will grow in value and continue to support the community and $PLAY Programs.
It is exchangeable, which means if you earn $PLAY Coin in GameCreators or LifePLAY, you can spend it in PLAYPro or anywhere else $PLAY is accepted. If you hold it, you will be eligible to receive rewards.
Every Rally Creator Coin has the opportunity to earn rewards. These rewards are distributed to the community each week in the form of additional $RLY coins given to you as an extra bonus, in proportion to the amount that you hold of each coin that’s exceeded the rewards threshold. A coin will earn rewards if it is continuing to grow week over week. When you receive rewards for a coin at the end of a week, you can choose to buy more $PLAY, buy other Creator Coins, or to move them into your cryptocurrency wallet.
Taking actions to remain eligible for the weekly rewards program is one of the core functions of the $PLAY board, to drive long term value for $PLAY programs and coin holders. This involves strategic timing of initiatives to have some flywheel effect in meeting growth targets.
Buying or trading in $PLAY Coin is not an investment. You don’t technically own anything via owning $PLAY Coin, except for a number in an electronic ledger. Yes, it can be exchanged, and turned into fiat currency (ie USD). However, it is not guaranteed to grow in relation to USD. For example, if you have 1 $PLAY coin, it could be worth $0.50USD today, or it could be worth $500USD next year. It can lose value the moment you buy one. This is the nature of cryptocurrency, and it is everyone’s responsibility to do their own research.
Therefore, if you choose to buy and hold $PLAY Coin, or buy and donate $PLAY Coin, you’re supporting the $PLAY community and beneficial programs like the proposed GameCreators, LifePlay and PlayPro programs.
Notwithstanding the above, $PLAY coin is launching due to the exciting opportunities for creator communities and localized economies. So while we cannot speak to the “price action” of $PLAY Coin, we can look to the behavior of other Creator Coins for some notion of possible outcomes.
The $PLAY board will work to grow each of the programs that $PLAY supports. If we are successful, that should positively affect the value of $PLAY Coin as well.
Based on the other Creator Coins on Rally (https://rally.io/creator/), we can expect the $PLAY coin to be priced around $32 when there is approximately $500k of USD support.
Example: The $ALLIE coin was created for a single game streamer. https://rally.io/creator/ALLIE/ It is currently priced around $31 with $493k in USD support volume, with only 377 supporters. If $ALLIE, a successful streamer with thousands of followers, has been able to achieve that in a few months, an organized venture has at least a similar opportunity.
We know that the coin will launch somewhere close to, or slightly under, $1. This depends on the value of $RLY, which has fluctuated between $0.80 and $1.20 over the last few weeks.

$PLAY Coin is designed to be the economic currency for a few different programs. More may be added. Some will contribute strongly to the growth of the $PLAY coin economy, creating value which can be applied to programs in alignment with our mission. The programs have strong symbiotic relationships, with opportunities for any individuals/groups to transact in $PLAY or add to the growth of $PLAY by bringing in more $USD support.
For example, games released through GameCreators could drive revenue in both $USD and in $PLAY support directly. This creates more value to be used in the LifePLAY program, creating stronger rewards for groups/kids/teams and increasing the number of initiatives supported.
Similarly, $PLAY earned in LifePlay could be used to purchase mentoring in PlayPro, or to join the premium GameCreators community.
Over time, as those groups grow in number, their holdings in $PLAY will increase, and some will also become more interested in supporting the $PLAY programs directly. This will further drive community and economic growth for the entire $PLAY community.
Each program has its own economic inputs and outputs, achieving various levels of short, mid, and longer-term diversification.
Each program will run autonomously with heavy guidance from the $PLAY Board, and will have a consistent community/operational thread of building and maintaining a strong moral compass.
We expect GameCreators to have a strong initial launch in May, followed quickly by PlayPro and LifePlay by Fall 2021.
$PLAY is used as a source of value exchange in GameCreators, a new incubator community for bringing solo Independent game developers, artists, and musicians together with fans, producers, and investors.
Game/Team Incubation
Community members will propose and pitch game projects, and judges/fans will vote on the best games to be created. Teams will form around the winning projects and receive expert guidance and resources needed for a successful launch. $PLAY funding, community funding, crowd funding, and investor funding will also be available to certain projects.
Pro Speakers
Industry speakers will give talks on topics ranging from story-telling and game design, to career advice on making the jump from indie/hobbyist to AAA studio.
Community Economy and Rewards
Community members use $PLAY to pay each other for services rendered on their own projects, and can be rewarded $PLAY for achieving various project milestones or other activities.
Special Project Opportunities
Special projects will be selected to be built to serve the rapidly growing cryptocurrency gaming market. In particular, games and experiences will be created for other Creator Coin founders, with their own niche communities.
General use
$PLAY will be available to use as a feeless microtransaction currency in games. This means a developer won’t need to give up 25-30% of their revenue to a play store.
LifePlay is a new kind of lifetime reward system for kids of all ages. It can begin the moment a child is born. It’s meant to promote healthy participation in play activities both in and outside the home. For example, someone could receive $PLAY for competing in an online gaming tournament, or they could also receive $PLAY for participating in activities like:
Scouts
School Sports
Intramural Sports
Little League, Football, Soccer, Basketball
Gymnastics
Youth group outings
$PLAY has no formal affiliations, so it’s not beholden to politics or policies. It’s meant to simply be a consistent means to grow as a child grows, interwoven through all of their activities.
As long as there is a person to organize, nominate, and verify things like attendance and achievements tailored to the individual, $PLAY is available to that group.
When a child leaves a team or grows out of a league, their $PLAY Coin and achievements don’t fade away. They stay and accumulate, and follow a child from activity to activity through the course of their life.
How it works
Create an account for your child at any point in a child’s life. If the group or organized activity participates in RealPlay rewards, LifePLAY will be allocated to the child’s account whenever an eligible event occurs.
$PLAY can also be donated to a child from family/friends.
It can be exchanged for merchandise, pooled to buy new equipment or pay for a special activity trip, used to vote on important issues, or used in any other $PLAY supported program. It can also be used to join a community like GameCreators, or PlayPro!
Community Benefits
Longer-term, we will also try to work out mechanics so LifePlay can be used as an alternative platform for traditional school/sport/group fundraising activities.

PlayPro solves the simple need of a game player wanting to increase their skills. We do this through a simple marketplace connecting players with pro gamers who can teach them the tricks, tips, techniques, and practice methods which made them successful.
The training can be done 1:1 or in groups. $PLAY Coin will be used to gain access to sessions for specific game training.
Users will coordinate and conduct training sessions via Website and Discord.
$PLAY can be purchased in $500 increments with a debit card (or SOME credit cards, though not all banks allow crypto purchases via credit cards) directly on the Rally website at https://rally.io/creator/PLAY/If you have $RLY in your Rally account, you can also convert it to $PLAY using the ‘Trade’ button on the top right of the screen. You’d hit it, and select PLAY which would be at the very bottom of the list
If you already have a cryptocurrency account and wallet, you may be interested to exchange some tokens for $RLY. Here are the steps:
Note: The Coinbase Web Site is different from the Coinbase Wallet App. If you send your $RLY to that web wallet, it may not return! The Coinbase Web Site does NOT support $RLY at this time. The Coinbase Wallet App does.
Note: For most transactions on the Ethereum network, sending coin around costs mining fees, and this is known as “gas”, and is measured in $ETH. It is a good idea to keep $100 in $ETH around in your wallet to pay for gas fees and avoid waiting.
Step 1: Obtain Ethereum ($ETH) via bank purchase or exchange. (Some sites like Coinbase may put a 5-6 day hold on incoming transactions)
Step 2: Send your $ETH to your compatible MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet App. This can take up to 30 minutes and gas fees apply.
Step 3: Convert your $ETH into $RLY. Use an exchange like 1Inch or UniSwap. This can take up to 30 minutes and gas fees apply: https://1inch.exchange/#/ETH/RLY?network=1
Step 4: Get your Bridge ID in your Settings in the upper right corner. The Bridge ID is NOT your Rally ID. It is the id for your wallet on the Rally Site.
https://rally.io/settings/
Step 5: “Bridge In” your $RLY into the Rally website, which turns it into usable RLY. It will show up as RLY in your portfolio in about an hour. https://vaults.rally.io/bridge
Step 6: Convert RLY into Creator Coin. Hit the Trade button, and find PLAY in the list.
Step 7: Enjoy!
